Day 42

I got up at 6.55, pulled up the blind and was surprised to see the sun. H had already made the tea so I had a cup. I remarked on the weather and H asked if I wanted to go out on my bike, I said yes. When we saw the weather forecast it said it could be raining here by midday so I said I only wanted to do 25 miles. He said it wasn’t enough for him so he went upstairs and rode for an hour. I emptied the dishwasher and put everything away, hung out yesterday’s washing and then read my book till H finished his ride. As soon as he had finished we got ready and went out to do the 25 miles. It was hard work because it was so very windy. When we got home I put the bikes away and we had lunch soup, cheese and biscuits and a cup of coffee. I got my washing in ( dry) and H worked in the garage on a bike he is putting together. He has finished it so next time we go out he is going to ride it to make sure everything is working as it should. We had a roast dinner tonight, it was a chicken in a roasting bag! I have never tried one before, it was very nice. We had it with potatoes, carrots, cauliflower and gravy. The rain finally arrived at about 5 o’clock and it’s great for our garden and lawns. There were huge puddles in places on our ride this morning. This month I have done 400.66 miles on my bike, my best April ever.

Day41

I got up at 6.05, made a pot of tea and a bowl of porridge. I had my breakfast and H came down. We had a coffee and I put on a load of washing but as it’s raining I left it in the basket. I got on with a bit of housework and H made us another coffee. I was going for a walk this morning while H was having a ride put then he decided he didn’t want to ride so I didn’t walk. I thought I might have a ride this afternoon instead. We waited for our daughter to let us know she was home with our shopping so we could go and pick it up. For lunch we had hard boiled eggs, H had his in a sandwich and I had mine with cucumber and mayo. I look forward to Wednesdays, we get to go for a ride, we get to see our daughter and one of our granddaughters ( even if it is through the window) and we get to look at our shopping! When I write my list, for example I put——cheese, pizza etc etc. When we unpack it’s fun finding out what we have. This week 2 different cheeses, and then we find out what topping our pizza will have. It’s much more fun than when I shop myself because I know what I have chosen 😂. After I had unpacked, put everything away and washed my hands H had poured me a glass of wine and by the time I had drunk it I didn’t feel like getting on the bike so I hunted around in the cupboard and found my skipping rope so used that instead. It was quite hot work, I will have to skip every day . We watched tipping point and had a bath then I cooked dinner, pizza and sausages. I know that is a strange combination but I had already taken the sausages out of the freezer but H said he wanted pizza so we had both. Anyway it was nice.

Day 40

I got up at 7 o’clock and had tea and porridge for breakfast. Today Is hubby’s birthday and now he is 82! He has had a nice day doing all the things he likes best, riding on the turbo trainer, drinking wine, sleeping in front of the tv and watching rubbish on u tube. After breakfast I emptied the dishwasher and put everything away, washed up all the big things that wouldn’t fit in the dishwasher. Next I cleaned all the worktops, emptied the crumbs out of the toaster and made the coffee. At 10.30 I went up for a ride and did 18.5 miles in 58 minutes. My average was 19.1mph. When I finished I had a shower and got lunch, we shared a tin of pilchards in tomato sauce and a slice of bread and butter. This afternoon we watched an old film(39 steps) . When it was over I made a pot of tea and cooked dinner. We had liver and onions with cauliflower, potato wedges and sweet corn. H had yogurt and I had a banana. The forecast is for more rain tomorrow so it looks like we will be riding upstairs again. I might have a rest day.

Day 39.

I got up at 6.30 and put on a load of washing. I had porridge and tea for breakfast and when the washing was done I hung it out. H made us a coffee and I went up to dress, make the bed and do my ironing. At 9.50 we went to Hellesdon because it was our eldest sons birthday. We knocked on the door put his cards and gifts on the doorstep and stood well back. He came to the door and we had a quick chat before returning home. It’s seems so strange but at least we saw him on his birthday. I had to make his birthday card because I couldn’t get out to get one and it’s not the same if someone else gets it for you. But he liked it , it had nice photos of his wife, him and their dog. When we got home we had an instant coffee and H had beans on toast, I had a slice of cheese, a tomato and 2 sticks of celery. This afternoon I did a bit of work in the garden, is was quite chilly compared to yesterday. When I went in we sat in the conservatory and the temperature in there was perfect. At 4 I made a pot  of tea and we watched countdown. When it was over I had a bath and cooked dinner. It was a very tasty spaghetti bolognese. H had yogurt for pudding and I had an apple. We both had a banana at some point in the afternoon and I forgot to say that this afternoon I made a ginger cake and a loaf of bread. Tonight all 4 of my soaps are on so I feel quite spoilt 😊.

Sunday, 26 April 2020

Sunday.

I got up just after 7 and put on a load of washing and then had my breakfast. I had toast for a change and the first slice was so nice I had another. I hung the washing out when it was done and H made us a cup of coffee. He also got he bikes out of the garage. He cleaned the chains and oiled them . He said he wanted to leave by 9.30 but it was about 9.40 when we left. We had a lovely ride, there were hardly any cars on the road as all, in fact we saw far more people on bikes than we did in cars. Plus loads of walkers. We rode 35 miles. When we got home it was time for lunch so we had a coffee, a cuppa soup and a banana. We relaxed in the garden in the sun and at 2.30 had a G&T. At 3.45 I made a pot of tea and when I had drunk mine I went up to have a bath and wash my hair. When I came down I made some coleslaw to go with our salad and H lit the barbecue and cooked our chicken thighs and pork and apple burgers. My washing is all lovely and dry again. Tomorrow is no 1 sons birthday so we are popping round with his card in the morning. We will be able to see him on his birthday through the window.

Saturday, 25 April 2020

Day 37.

I got up at 6.30 and had porridge for breakfast and a cup of tea. We had a coffee and I fed my pots. I took chicken out of the freezer for dinner tonight. H went upstairs to do a ride and I went to the chemist on my bike to collect my prescription. I had to queue for a short while, we were all miles apart! Only one person was allowed in the shop at a time and the chemist had a lovely deep visor on. When I got home I raked up a bucket of moss and then sat in the sun till H finished and then I got lunch. We had cream crackers and cheese with pickle washed down with an instant coffee. We both sat in the garden this afternoon, we had a small G&T. When H went in I watered a few plants that were wilting a bit and put the chairs away before going in and putting the chicken in the oven. I also prepared the vegetables, carrots, cabbage and potatoes. I went up and had a shower and watched tipping point. I cooked the veg, made the gravy and dished up dinner, it was nice. We watched Ninja warriors and then I went up to watch Julie Walters.

We had a coffee and then I made the bed, vacuumed upstairs and downstairs and then I dusted. H put our garden chairs out and we sat in the garden. We had another coffee and I did a bit of gardening. For lunch we had a cheese sandwich with celery. This afternoon I asked H to dig up a shrub in the garden. It wasn’t very big but we cant believe how huge the root is! He has got a lot of it out but there is still more to come up. I am digging up a tiny corner of the garden to make vegetable patch. It will only have tomatoes and beans in it because it is small and I can’t get seeds anyway as I can’t go out. I made a pot of tea and we had a cup with a biscuit and a square of plain chocolate. We watched tipping point, had our baths and I cooked dinner. Salmon with potato wedges, cauliflower, and mushy peas.

We sat in the garden till 10 then we had a coffee and I took my bike out of the garage so I could cycle to the chemist for my prescription. However when I got there, there was a long queue so I cycled straight past and came home again. I will try again tomorrow. When I got home we had a cuppa soup and a banana. We spent more time in the garden and spent quite a bit of time raking moss out of the lawn. At 3 we had a glass of gin and tonic and at 4 we watched tipping point. Day 34.

I got up at 6 and made a pot of tea.when H came down he cut me of a round of bread and I had it with butter and marmite for my breakfast.we had a coffee after H had got our bikes out of the garage. I played one game of patience and got it out right away so I read a chapter of my book. At 8.45 we got ready to go out on our bikes. It was far more windy than we thought so it was hard work in places. We did 33 miles and went to Cawston, Marsham, Brampton, Aylsham, Blickling, Cawston, Swannington, Felthorpe and home. When we got home I put the bikes away and we had a message from our daughter saying she was home with our shopping so we changed and went round to pick it up. She also had some for her son who lives near us so we took that as well. It was nice to see our daughter and granddaughter and then our grandson. When we got home we had a coffee, a cuppa soup and a banana. At 3 ish we had a G&T. in the garden. The sun was lovely but the wind was chilly so H put the wind break up and now we are both a bit pink. We went in for tipping point and I made a pot of tea. When tipping point was over we each had a bath and I cooked dinner. We had sausages, bacon, eggs, tomatoes and chips. It was yummy. We were both hungry. I have 2 soaps tonight so I have something to watch.

Next I emptied the dishwasher and put everything away. I made the bed and did a bit of clearing up. At 8.45 I got ready to do a bike ride upstairs. I did 20.4 miles in an hour. I was pleased with that. When I finished we had another coffee and then H went up to ride for an hour. While he was doing that I sat in the garden in my shorts and a jumper! It was so windy and the wind was freezing 🥶. I stuck it for about an hour and a half but I had to go in and sit in the conservatory to warm up. For lunch H had cheese, biscuits and pickle, I had a salad. We made a loaf of bread earlier. After my workout and just a salad for lunch I felt so hungry that when H went up for his shower I cut the crust off the new loaf, spread it with butter and marmite and ate it. It was delicious. I had a bath and then we had dinner, chicken curry. Followed by yogurt.
No 1 son rang, he and his wife are still ok. He is still working, most of our family are still working. I think it’s just our grandson, his partner and me that aren’t doing our jobs at the moment.

Monday, 20 April 2020

Day 32

I am pleased I am using numbers instead of days to title my blog now as I have no idea what day it is!   I thought it was Tuesday when I got up, checked the tele mag to see what I am watching this evening and had my breakfast. ( porridge and tea). I played a couple of games of cards and after I was dressed  I went outside and raked up a bucket of moss. H was on the turbo trainer. I worked in the garden till he tapped on the kitchen window to let me know he had finished. By the time I had put the rake and bucket away he had made us a coffee. We had cheese on toast for lunch and then I put my cycle gear on and had a ride on Zwift. I did 27.8 miles. When I finished we had a cup of tea and a biscuit. I sent our daughter our shopping list as I always do on a Tuesday, had a shower and sorted dinner. We watched the weather forecast and I said to H ‘ lovely, the wind will be gone tomorrow and we can go out on our bikes ‘ he said no it’s going to be windy again tomorrow just like today. I said, the weather man said Wednesday is going to be nice and the wind is going to drop. So he said, yes but tomorrow is Tuesday!

H put our chairs out on the lawn to dry because they were damp after yesterday’s rain. I wrote a couple of emails and at 10 we ent out and sat in the garden. The sun was lovely but the wind was freezing and strong. I raked a couple of buckets of moss out of the lawn and managed to stay outside till 12. I came in to get lunch, H had tomato soup and I had salad. We both had a coffee and I didn’t bother to go out again, I just played patience till I finally managed to finish a game, it took ages. We had a bath and then dinner. Roast leg of lamb, mashed potato, broccoli, cabbage and carrots with gravy and mint sauce. H had yogurt for pudding and I had a banana. Now I am watching Greece.

For dinner tonight we had bacon, chorizo, eggs, chips, salad and bread and butter. Yogurt for pudding.

Day 29 of isolation.

I got up at 5 to 7 and put on a load of washing. I had porridge for breakfast with a mug of tea and after that a coffee. We planned to go out on our bikes this morning but we had a message from John Lewis to say our bathroom cabinet was going to be delivered between 11.15 and 3.15 so we couldn’t really go. I hung out the washing and we had an instant coffee then I went upstairs and got ready to turbo. I did 32.1 miles in 1 hour and50 minutes. At 10. 43 our cabinet arrived so it’s a good job we stayed in, it was half an hour early! H unpacked it and it weighed a ton! I had to offer it up to the wall while he marked the places he had to drill, I was so scared I was going to drop it. Anyway we managed to do it,  it’s lower than the last one so I can actually see myself in it! When we finished we had a pot noodle for lunch with another instant coffee. Ha got them out of the garage and oiled the chains etc. I filled my water bottle, and when we were ready we left. It was a lovely ride, hardly any wind. We saw some buzzards but hardly any cars or people. We went from ours through  Felthorpe, Swannington, Cawston, Hayden, Briston, then back to Hayden and home again. It was 30.9 miles. When we got home we had a cheese sandwich and there was a message from our granddaughter saying they were home from work and had got our weekly groceries so we changed out of our cycle gear and went round to collect them. I got up early this morning because I had a bit of an upset stomach. I think it was too much chocolate!! I had malt loaf for breakfast, it was the last of the loaf so I will be back on porridge tomorrow. We had a coffee, I did a load of washing and hung it out when it was done. H went up to ride and while he was doing that I raked another bucket of moss out of the lawn, emptied the dishwasher and put everything away, dusted and made us both a coffee when H finished his ride. I sat and made a birthday card for my sister in law which, though I say it myself has turned out really well, I hope she likes it. H decided to clean the bathroom and he made a very good job of it. I made us a coffee and went outside to rake some more out of the lawn. I filled a bucket again then I did a bit if weeding. We had a pot noodle for lunch and then I walked to the letterbox to post the card. I didn’t see anybody while I was out! I had several games of patience and even did some colouring. We had jacket potatoes, fish cakes and mushy peas. Tonight I have an episode of all my soaps so I will have to try to stay awake. It was much cooler today.

Sunday, 12 April 2020

Easter Day (24)

This is the first Easter in all my 81 years that I have been unable to see any of my family and give them eggs. H is here of course, but I miss the days when I used to go to communion with my Dad. Mind you, even if dad was here we wouldn’t be doing that this year. I spent most of the day in the garden. I got up at 7, put on a load of washing. I had malt loaf for breakfast with a cup of tea and then a coffee. Our coffee pods arrived yesterday. I hung the washing out, made the bed and dressed in my shorts and sun top. At 10 we had a coffee and H got his mountain bike out of the garage and altered his handle bars. It took him most of the morning. At 1 we had lunch, a cuppa soup and a toasted hot cross bun. This afternoon I sat and ate a whole Easter 🐣 egg! We had a cup of tea and I had a bath before getting dinner. We had eggs, bacon and chips with a green salad. It was nice. H says as it’s a bank holiday tomorrow we won’t go out on our bikes because the roads might be busy. I don’t think they will be because nobody can go anywhere. Our daughter and son in law went for a bike ride today and said the roads were really quiet. They had a great ride and really fast.

Saturday, 11 April 2020

Day 23.

I got up at 6 o’clock and had porridge for breakfast. We had a cup of tea and a little later a coffee. I emptied the dishwasher and put everything away and began to restack it. I made the bed, dressed and put our sun loungers out. H went upstairs to turbo and I got ready to go out on my bike. I did 16 miles  so I am only 2miles off a hundred for this week and there is still tomorrow. When I got home I took my cycle stuff off and put my shorts on so I could sit in the garden. When H finished his ride I made us a coffee and we had a sausage roll and a hot cross bun. We both sat in the garden and H is a bit pink to say the least! At 4 we had a cup of tea and then we both had a shower.while I was in the shower H lit the bbq. It was our first one of the year. Let’s hope there are many more to come.
The death count is still going up, it’s dreadful. I had an email from my brother in New Zealand today and he says they have only had 4 deaths so far. They went to ‘ lockdown ‘ straight away and anybody coming into the country from anywhere we’re put into isolation for 14 days he says.

Friday, 10 April 2020

Good Friday (22)

I got up at 6.20 and put on a load of washing. I had a slice of malt loaf for breakfast with a mug of tea. I hung the washing out when it was done. When it was done I put the sun loungers out and we sat in the garden. At 1 o’clock we had lunch, one of my butchers sausage rolls and a glass of squash. We sat out for another hour and H went in and I did a bit of gardening. I got the washing in when it was time for tipping point and put the chairs away. After tipping point I had a bath and washed my hair, then I cooked dinner. Lasagna and baked beans. We both had a banana and H had a yogurt.
Tonight I have 2 out of 4 soaps so I am quite excited. 😄.

Maundy Thursday (21😐)

We both got up at 6, I put on a load of washing and had a slice of malt loaf toasted with butter and a mug of tea. We had a coffee, I hung the washing out and fed the birds. I made the bed and dressed. We had to go to Asda this morning because H has his medication from there. We got there at 8 o’clock and the queue went all the way round the car par and the cat park is huge. Luckily the chemist had told me I don’t have to queue and could walk straight in. I did the walk of shame past the enormous queue with them all looking at me. I am sure they thought I would be sent back to the end!
When we got home we got ready to go out on our bikes. We had a lovely ride again, almost 31 miles. We saw our Daughter and son in law going out on their bikes, we didn’t stop to chat, it wouldn’t have been any fun shouting out each other across the road. When we got home I changed into my shorts so I could sit in the garden. We had a coffee and a bun to see us through till dinner. I did a bit of work in the garden but you still can’t really see what I have done. I got the washing in and I had had enough sun by 4 o’clock so I came in and made a pot of tea. We watched tipping point, had our baths and I cooked dinner. Spaghetti bolognese, it was nice, H had yogurt for pudding and I had an apple. There is not one of my soaps on tonight, how boring.

Wednesday, 8 April 2020

Wednesday (20)

I got up just after 6.30 put on a load of washing and then had my breakfast. Tea and porridge. I hung out the washing and fed the birds. We had a coffee and H ordered 100 more coffee pods because we are running low. I took some chicken breasts out of the freezer so we can have chicken curry tonight for dinner. H went up to ride 30 miles and I went out to do some more weeding. I made a malt loaf which turned out quite well, it’s lovely toasted with butter on so guess what I shall be having for breakfast tomorrow. When H had finished his ride we had a coffee and both sat in the sun till it was lunch time and we had cheese and biscuits. I had a message from our daughter to say she had our shopping so we got ready  and went to pick it up. She managed to get everything I wanted so now we can survive another week. She also gave us Easter eggs 🥚! They look fabulous so roll on Sunday.
When we got home we  had a G&T sitting in the sun. I got the washing in and at 3.30 we had had enough sun for today so we went in. I made a pot of tea and we watched tipping point. We each had a bath and then our chicken curry.

Tuesday, 7 April 2020

Day 19. 🤯

I got up at 7.20 and put on a load of washing. As we were actually GOING OUT! On our bikes I decided to have toast for breakfast. It’s the first toast for ages and it was delicious. I fed the birds, they love their mealworms, I hung out the washing. H got the bikes out of the garage, wiped and oiled the chains and then he had to pump up all 4 tyres, it’s so long since our bikes have been used.  I made the bed and took some liver out of the freezer for dinner tonight. At 9.30 we got ready to go. It was a wonderful ride and we both enjoyed it. We did 30.84 miles, most of which was on little country lanes. All of it was on the road but with our nobbley tyres so it was hot work. It took us 2 hours and 11 minutes. H says we have to try to do it 2 hours before the year is out.! When we got home I was naughty and had another slice of toast, I was even naughtier when I poured us each a G&T and we had it with a cake 🧁! We sat in the garden in the sun for a while. All my washing got dry again. I put the bikes away , made a pot of tea and we watched tipping point, we had our baths and dinner, liver and onions in a rich gravy with leeks and potatoes. It was yummy. I have got a couple of soaps this evening!

Monday, 6 April 2020

Day 18.

I got up at 2 minutes to seven. H was up and had made the tea so I had a cup. Later he made a coffee and said he was going up for a ride in a while so I said I would wait till he was gone before I had my porridge. I fed the birds cleaned out the bird bath and filled it and when I came in I started on the housework. I made some coconut and sultana buns and time was getting away, H was still downstairs so I made and ate my porridge anyway. We had another coffee and I asked him when he was going to ride. He said later on! So I said in that case I would ride now. I went up and changed and did 21.1 miles average 19.1 mph. He never did ride so it’s a good job I had my porridge! When I finished we had a cuppa soup and one of my buns. I sat about most of the afternoon, had a bath and cooked dinner after tipping point. We had sausages, chorizo, tomatoes, fried eggs, potatoes and peas. It was a yummy dinner. H had a yogurt and I had an apple. I am being spoilt this evening with all my soaps being on.

Sunday, 5 April 2020

Day 17 !!!!

I got up at 6.55. H was up and the tea was made. I put on a load of washing and he poured me a cup of tea.  I hung out the washing when it was done and fed the birds. Next I had a bowl of porridge and dressed. I put my cycle gear on and at 10 I did an hour on the turbo.   I did 21.3 miles in 1.06 so my average was 19.4 mph. When I finished I had a quick shower and put my shorts on to sit in the garden
The sun was lovely but the wind was awful, blustery and cold. H sat outside in a thick jumper and his coat! I am tougher than him and I braved it all afternoon in shorts, flip flops and a sun top. We had a cheese and beetroot sandwich for lunch and a glass of wine. When H went in I did a bit of gardening and filled another bucket with weeds. H ran me a bath so I went in, I made a pot of tea before I went up and poured it when I came down. Just before I went up for my bath no 2 son rang ( face time) today is his 43 rd birthday and he has had to spend it on his own. Normally he would be in Greece on a climbing holiday, let’s hope he will be able to do that next year. For dinner tonight we had steak and kidney pie with cabbage, cauliflower, potatoes and leeks, it was very tasty. I don’t know what I am watching on tv tonight because I haven’t checked to see what is on.

I got up at 6.30 and took the sheets off the bed and did a load of washing. I made my porridge and had my breakfast. H had already made the tea. We had a coffee and I read my book till the washing was done and then I hung it out, I fed the birds and put our sun loungers on the lawn. At 9.30 H went up to turbo and I took our daughters washing back. When I got home he had almost finished his ride so I made us a coffee and cheese and biscuits for lunch. We both sat in the garden, the sun was lovely but the wind was strong and quite chilly. Ie was too cold for H but I stuck it out right till 3 o’clock when I went in and put the sheets back on the bed. We opened my last bottle of wine 🍷 🙁now I am not working I won’t be buying any more. I have to watch the pennies. When I had finished mine I went up for a shower before cooking dinner. We had salmon with jacket potatoes and baked beans.
We were going out on our bikes tomorrow but H thinks it might be a bit busy so we are going to to stay in our garden and sunbathe and will go out on our bikes on Tuesday instead.

Day 15!

I got up at 7.10 and put on a load of washing, H was still in bed so I made a pot of tea and had my porridge. He came down just before 8 o’clock. We had a coffee and I hung out the washing, fed the birds and got the bin back in. Next I made a batch of rock cakes and made the bed. I took some chicken drumsticks 🍗 out of the freezer for dinner tonight and did a bit of housework. For lunch we had a pot noodle and then I went outside and worked in the garden for nearly 3 hours. 2 of my cousins phoned me today to check how we are. How nice. I came in from the garden at 4 to watch tipping point and cook dinner. We had chicken and chips and it was nice. I had a bath and washed my hair. I actually have 2 soaps this evening so I am being spoilt.

Day 14 of isolation

I got up at 6 o’clock after an awful nights sleep. I put on a load of washing and made a pot of tea. As I was going to do a training ride this morning I decided not to have porridge so I had 3 cream crackers with butter and marmite. I had eaten them when I looked at the tv and they said it was Thursday! I have no idea what the days are they all roll into one. I always weigh myself before breakfast on Thursdays. It was only 3 crackers, if it had been my porridge it would have been heavy. Anyway I weighed 133.4 pounds. Last week I was 134.8 pounds! I don’t know how I did that. When the first load of washing was done I hung it out and put on a second load. H got up at 8 and made me a coffee and then I went up for my ride. I did 41 miles av 18.9 mph. I did just stop in the middle of my ride to hang out the second load of washing. I was going to ride 50 miles but my bottom had enough. When I finished we had our lunch, an apple custard puff and a cup of coffee. H went up to ride . He went further than me in less time. We both had showers as we finished our rides so after tipping point I cooked dinner, stewed steak with purple sprouting broccoli, carrots and new potatoes. I am going up to watch tv but I only have 1 out of my 4 soaps that are on! It turns out that my tele’ magazine is wrong and I have no soaps on today at all!🙁

April 1st. Wednesday. Day 13.

I got up at 6 o’clock and put on a load of washing. I made a pot of tea, a bowl of porridge and had my breakfast. When the washing was done I hung it out and also fed the birds. H got up at 8! When he did I emptied the dishwasher and put everything away. We had a coffee and H went up for a ride so I went outside to work in the garden. When he finished I went in and got us cheese on toast for lunch, he had a cuppa soup with his and I had a coffee. I got a text from our daughter to say she had got our groceries for us so we said we would pop round to pick them up. As we drove up she came out with her husband and daughter with 3 bags of shopping and a bag of washing as her machine has gone wrong! When we got home I put everything away and got ready to do a long ride for the first day of the month. I had only done 7 miles when H brought me the phone. It was my bosses wife just checking we were alright. I had to stop peddling and I was on the phone for ages. They have a new woman taking my place! When she rang off it was a bit late so I made my miles up to 11 and now I will have to do a long ride tomorrow. I had a shower and then a G&T and a gorgeous cream bun our daughter bought us. I cooked dinner, it was chicken breasts with cauliflower, potatoes and an egg. Fruit salad and squirty cream for pud. I am now going to watch tv.
