Friday

Today i got up at quarter to six and had toast and tea for breakfast .At 7oclock we went to Asda todo our shopping . I bought myself a lovely warm jumper .This afternoon my daughter came round and took me for a walk. ITS the longest walk I have done since I had my stroke.This morning my husband massaged my fface and plasterd it up for me . Iam tired out

Thursday

I had 2 people from the stroke team come round this morning I had a lovely face massage.T hey also taped up my face which helps to keep it in place.I hung the washing out this morning and got it in again when it was dry .we had soup for lunch and a stir fry for dinnner tonight . Tomorrow I am going shopping and in the afternoon my daughter is coming round to take me for a walk if its not raining.

wednesday .Today I have done my exercises and stripped my bed. T he trouble is yesterday i went outside to do some gardening and it gave me backache so I cant do anything for too long before I have to rest. MyGranddaughter came round yesterday on her way home ftom work and gave my arm and and arn another massage it was lovely.

Monday 26th of September

today Ihad toast for breckfast but I didnt have a cup of tea because its horrible withh the thickner i have to have in all my drinks so I dont choke.I had 2physio people come this morning and they said i am doing well.When they left we went to Lidl it tyred me out.

Sunday

I missed yesterday so I thought I would start early today. I had a loveiy blloke come yesterday to show me some exercises to do and today i have ajready done half of them .This morning I dressed myself fully for the first time.I did up my bra at the front and spun it round Now i as exuhasted.

Friday 16th September

This is my first blog for a while because i had a stroke on a moonday not this week bur the week before . I was taken in to hospital by ambulance andcame home again on the Thursday the day the Queen died . Its very hard for me to write this because i have forgotten wherethe ff letters are on the keypad and my fingers dont work propely.p9o"

Sunday

I got up at 6.15 and put on a load of washing. We had our breakfast H made us a coffee and when the washing was done I hung it out. H was going out on his bike today so he got it out and checked the tyres etc.When he left I cleared up the kitchen, dusted the lounge and swept and dusted the conservatory. Then I went and sat in the sun waiting for H to come home.He wasnt home by 1 oclock so I went in and prepared lunch. I made him a cheese and salad roll and I had without the roll. I had just finished when he got home, he said he had a nice ride. This afternoon we watched the tour of Britain (bike race). It started today in Scotland and it was pouring with rain.We had our baths and dinner,the rest of the stew.

Saturday

We got up at 6.30 and had our usual breakfasts. Next we had a coffee and I went up to dress. When I went to bed last night I noticed I had 4 spots in a circle on my chest.I thought I might have been bitten by something but they were very flat and didnt itch or hurt. But when I got up and looked this morning I had loads more! I think I might have an alergy thats to do with my eye drops! The trouble is each time I put them in I can feel them run down the back of my throat. So as its the weekend and I cant contact anyone I now put the drops in, take an antihistimin and drink gsllons of water. At 11.30 we left to go to a wedding, it was nice, held on my exbosses tennis court. The reception was pizzas, cooked on sight with salads etc. A wonderful cheese board, the brie was so yummy and I rescued loads of it because it was trying to run away. fresh fruit salad for dessert and brownies. It was very hot and humid when we arrived so we cooled down with a long cool drink. Fizz was served with the speeches and then beer snd wine, all really nice. There were games for the children, giant jengo, crocket, cricket etc. It was nice to meet old friends. We left around 3 because H had enough and I had to put in the dreadded drops! I think the spots are fading a bit so I am keeping my fingers crossed. I forgot to say that while we were at the wedding there were 2 short sharp showers. when we drove home the road was running with water but as we got nearer home it was less and less and when we got home we hadnt had a drop, so disapointing.

Friday (hot again)

I got up at 6 oclock and made a pot of tea before bathing my eye open. I had eggs again for breakfast. Hubby got up fifteen minutes later and as soon as we were both washed and dressed we went to Asda. I spent far too much as usual! When we got home H made the coffee while I unpacked and put everything away. We had a cake with our coffee, our shopday treat. H brought his best bike down from the pain cave and cleaned and polished it.While he was doing that I vacumed downstairs.He got our chairs out so we sat in the sun for a while but it was so hot! 25degrees c and in our garden not a breath of wind.I prepared lunch, a cheese roll for H and a salad for me. This afternoon I made a beef stew for dinner! It was delish! I made enough for 2 days but tomorrow we are going to a wedding so I will have to freeze the rest.

Thursday

I got up at 6.15 after a pretty good sleep considering I had just had my second eye done. It was very sticky this morning and took a lot of bathing to get it open. However its marvellous, my eyes are equally good now and its amazing. I had to start the drops today and so far they are not stinging anything like they did in my first eye. I had a call from the clinic this morning checking that everything is ok. I really cant fault them they are all so friendly and helpful.I cant believe I have had both my eyes cut open while I was still awake, didnt feel a thing and each time was back in the car within an hour of arriving. I have had a lazy day just watering the beans and tomatoes and getting a bit of my tan back in the garden. We had cream crackers and cheese for lunch and dinner tonight was a prawn stir fry. We had vienetta for dessert.
