Monday 29 th

 Today the sun was shining and the wind was blowing so I hung my washing out and H got the bikes out and we got ready and went for a bike ride. We went to Reepham station for coffee and cake. When we got home we had done 18.69 miles. The wind was strong but on the track we were quite sheltered. It was a nice ride but quite muddy. For dinner tonight we we are having roast chicken and potatoes carrots broccoli and leek. For dessert we have got Eaton mess. All washed down with some of H’s birthday wine. 

Sunday

 I didn’t get up till 7.55. I had my breakfast 🍳 eggs and sent our oldest granddaughter a message wishing her luck because she was running 🏃‍♀️ the London marathon. She did it in 4 hours and 14 seconds. While she was doing that out youngest son and I went for a bike ride. We went to Reepham along Marriotts way. We had a coffee and a cake in Bread sauce and then cycled home again. When we got home our other son was there. So we sat and had a chat. For dinner tonight we had chicken and broccoli cauliflower carrots and roast potatoes and sweet potato. Oh! and gravy. Now I am watching Britain’s got talent.

Saturday

 I got up at 6.40 and put on a load of washing. I then had my breakfast 🍳 eggs. When the washing was done I hung it out, it was really windy so I put an extra peg in everything. I emptied the dishwasher and put everything away. Our youngest son is home for the weekend, so today we went for a walk round the lake at Blickling Hall. It was a nice walk but very windy and quite cold. The car park was full and so was the cafe when we went for a coffee. We got our drinks from a mobile stall and took it back to the car. For dinner tonight we had duck legs with cauliflower carrots broccoli peas and potatoes. For dessert we had blackberries and blueberries with ice cream and cream. 

Thursday

 I got up at 6.45 and made a pot of tea and had my breakfast. As soon as I had eaten it I hung my washing out. Then I got ready to go to the pain cave to ride for an hour. I did 17.3 miles. When I had finished we had a coffee and I got us cheese and biscuits with Branson pickle for lunch. I worked in the kitchen cleaning the worktops and cupboard doors. For dinner tonight we had a beef pie with potatoes carrots and cauliflower. 

Tuesday

 I had a better nights sleep and didn’t get up till 7.30 . I had my breakfast 🍳 and made myself a fresh cup of tea because H had made a pot of tea and poured me a cup out an hour before I got up! It was stone cold. Next I got ready to go to Lidl. When we got home I put all the shopping away and changed into my cycle shorts to ride upstairs as it was pouring with rain as it always does on Lidl day. I rode for an hour and did 16.7 miles, I rode the London route which I haven’t done for ages. We had cheese and biscuits for lunch with a cup of bovril. For dinner tonight we had beef and rice in black bean sauce followed by a tiramisu and a cup of tea. I was supposed to be going to the City tomorrow to meet my sister in law but we have put it off till next Wednesday because the weather tomorrow is not going to be good. 

Monday

 I haven’t been able to write a blog for ages because I couldn’t get the page up to type on. I thought I would just look this morning and it came up right away,so I thought I had better blog now in case I cannot get it later. Last Wednesday is when it went wrong. We went out for dinner that night, it was our Christmas present from our youngest granddaughter and her boyfriend. They came and picked us up and took us somewhere we had never been before. It was a lovely place and the meals were delicious. I had fish and chips, because I have difficulty in cutting my food up and I am a slow eater. H had fish pie, one of his favourites. My fish and chips were very nice. H enjoyed his. 

On Thursday I went to the zoo with my daughter and the 2 grandchildren it was a lovely day out, the sun ☀️ shone and the children were as good as gold. They are a laugh a minute. On Saturday H and I went for a bike ride along the track to Whitwell were we sat on the station platform enjoying a coffee and an ice cream in the sun. Yesterday I did some housework and some gardening. I gardened for the first time this year without sleeves, it was the first time it has been warm enough, when I looked at my last years diary it was the same day as last year that I took my cardigan off. I had a terrible nights sleep last night and today I am really tired, H has just gone up to turbo but I won’t be doing anything.

Tuesday

 I had a better nights sleep last night thank goodness. Today is the day we go to Lidl and it was raining again. I think that since we have been going to Lidl it’s rained every time except once. When we got home I got our lunch, we had a chicken roll with salad.with a cup of coffee. This afternoon we both had a turbo, I didn’t go fast because I didn’t want to upset my knees. One is now better and the other one is improving. We had a bath and I washed my hair and for dinner tonight we had rice and beef in a black bean sauce with fresh fruit for dessert.

Monday

 Last night I had the worst sleep ever. I got up 3times between 10 and 3 to go to the toilet and then I couldn’t get to sleep again . So I laid there tossing and turning for the rest of the night and today I have been so tired. It was a lovely day it I was too tired to do anything. I hung my washing out and it all got dry. This afternoon I did a bit of weeding and if it hadn’t been for the wind I could have had my jumper off. It got to 17 degrees here today. For dinner tonight we had the rest of yesterday’s chicken with a jacket potato and baked beans.

Wednesday

 I got up at 7 o’clock and put yesterday’s washing in the dryer. Then I made a pot of tea and had my breakfast. After breakfast I thought I would go out into the garden and plant my dahlias. I dug the first hole 🕳 and the rain started I carried on and planted the first one and got soaked so I gave up and went indoors. No sooner had l taken off my wet jacket when the sun came out. H made me a coffee so I sat and drank it and went out again. I dug the second hole and the rain came down and I got soaked again. This happened twice more and I gave up. I have planted about half. I have to get them in because they are starting to shoot but the forecast is for rain again tomorrow. For dinner tonight we had salmon with baked potatoes and corn on the cob. 

Monday

 I got up at 6.50 and put on a load of washing. Then I had my breakfast. When I had finished I hung the washing out. I then planted my strawberry plants. Our son was leaving this afternoon so this morning he and I went to Aylsham where we went to Bread source for a coffee and a walk round the Church and churchyard. When we left there we went and parked close to a section of Marriotts way and went for a walk . On Saturday we went for a bike ride. I had an Easter egg given to me and a chocolate bunny. I couldn’t get to sleep last night. I was buzzing on a chocolate high. I have eaten less today so I hope I get a better nights sleep.
