Tuesday

We got up at 5.30 and I put on a load of washing while H made a pot of tea. We had our breakfast and then a coffee. I hung the washing out when it was done and at 8.15 H left to go to the Doctors for his E C G results. It wasnt good news! The doc told him that his heart is damaged and thats the reason for the fluid on his chest. H said that there is no cure but it can be managed with drugs. They will know more after he has been to hospital and had his heart scan. He asked about cycling and if it was doing any damage but the doc said it was ok as long as he didnt over do it. So we changed and went for s ride. It was nice, we just pottered along looking at the countryside. We saw buzzards, rabbits,kestrils etc etc. We also passed a house in the country with a box outside the gate full of cucumbers and a sign saying free so we took one. I had a slice with my burger and its really sweet and juicy. We did 25 miles. When we got home we had a coffee, H had cheese and biscuitsand I had a banana and a slice of corned beef. We sat in the garden fot half an hour in the sun, it was HOT. We watched tipping point with a cup of tea, had our baths and then dinner.A beef burger with added onions, bacon, cheese and tomato topped with mustard mayo. We had melon for desert. I have to work tomorrow.
