Saturday.

I got up at 6.15, put on a load of washing and had eggs for breakfast. By the time my washing was done it had turned really dull so I didn’t hang it out. I did a bit of housework and made a fruit cake. H went into the pain cave and rode a 100 k race! When he had finished he had a shower, then a corned beef sandwich and a coffee. We got ready to go and see the new puppy, it’s really tiny! He’s a dear little thing. We had a cup of tea and a cinnamon cake Louise had baked, very nice. They have also bought a fabulous wall clock,  you can see all the cogs working through the glass in the face. Our grandson was there with his partner and he has just passed one of his accountancy exams getting 100% in the exam!! Our youngest granddaughter was there too, she is pleased with the puppy. When we got home we had a glass of wine. ( it poured with rain but not for long enough.) for dinner we had breaded cod, cauliflower, broccoli and potato wedges.
