Wednesday

 I got up at 6 o’clock I had been awake since 3.45 it was so hot. I had my breakfast and went outside to water the tomatoes and all my pots. Next I emptied the dishwasher and put everything away then I went upstairs and changed into my cycle gear. We went out on our bikes and it was lovely and cool on Marriotts Way under the trees. This afternoon we sat in the garden and for dinner tonight we had chicken in a white wine sauce with pasta. Tomorrow I am going to the beach.

Sunday

 I got up at 6.15 and had eggs for breakfast 🍳. I got dressed and put our sun beds up on the lawn . I went out to sit in the sun and our daughter and youngest granddaughter came round on their bikes. Our granddaughter’s bike 🚲 had broken so they had to push them to ours. They were cycling to ours when it broke, our son in law was with them but he had biked back home to get his van so take the bike back. We all sat in the garden with a coffee. When they left H went upstairs to turbo. I took my shorts off and put a skirt on and went for a walk. It was hot 🥵 I did almost two miles. For dinner tonight we had lamb shanks with carrots, peas and green beans, we had a lolly. 

Saturday

 I got up at 4 o’clock because I couldn’t sleep, so I sat and read my book till H got up . I then made a pot of tea and we had our breakfast. H was feeling dizzy today so he didn’t want to go out on his bike. So I went out on my . I did 23 miles. It was a nice ride. When I got home we had our lunch a cheese roll with home grown tomatoes and a glass of orange juice. For dinner tonight we had paella, a cup of tea and some plums for pudding. 

Wednesday

 I had toast for breakfast because we were having eggs tonight with our dinner. H had taken the bikes out of the garage before I was up. Yesterday I gardened all day. Anyway, when I got up this morning and looked out of the kitchen window and our back garden looked like a scene from a Walt Disney cartoon. There was a family of blue tits round our arch hanging upside down and flying about, there were 2 gold finches sitting on the bed bath, Blackbirds on the lawn pulling up worms 2 hedge sparrows hopping about in the border and pidgins walking up the path. Any one would think we lived in the middle of the countryside. We got ready and went for a bike ride we did 23 miles on and off road. I got a bloody arm after getting caught on a bramble. When we got home I changed and sat in the garden until the sun went in. For dinner tonight we had sausages, chicken nuggets, eggs, mushrooms and broad beans. 

Monday

 I got up at 6 o’clock and put on a load of washing when I had finished my breakfast I hung the washing out. Then I washed and dressed and went out to do some gardening. I was digging up weeds when it started to rain, the sky was really black so I got the washing in again. It didn’t rain properly but I didn’t hang the washing out again. After lunch I went for a walk I went to pick some Myra Bellas it was still raining when I went but stopped by the time I got to the trees. For dinner tonight we had lamb chops with potatoes carrots broccoli and peas. 

Sunday

 I was up at 5.45 because it was too hot to sleep. I had my eggs for breakfast with a cup of tea. Then I washed and dressed and did all the ironing. I emptied the dishwasher and put everything away and cleaned the sink. I took my nail polish off and did them again. My daughter was coming round to pick me up at 1 o’clock and take me out for afternoon tea. We were going with her 2 daughter’s. When she got here every one was in the car already. We drove to Hayden and went straight to the cafe. They asked us if we wanted tea or coffee and what flavour scones we wanted there were about 6 to choose from. It was a lovely tea with unlimited tea and coffee. We all enjoyed it and all came out stuffed. We then went into the church and had a look round and then the churchyard, and then we went for a walk through the park, took some photos and then home. While I was doing that H went out on his electric bike. He had a nice ride.

Saturday

 I got up at 6 o’clock and had eggs for breakfast, I took my medication that I have to take and put on a load of washing. Then I got ready to go out on my bike. When the washing was done I hung it out. We did a short ride because H wanted to be home for for the Tour de France. It was a really hot ride. When we got home we had a glass of orange juice and a packet of crisps. For dinner tonight we had pizza 🍕 and chips. I then took my medication and had a bath. I got my washing dry again.

Thursday

 I got up early and got straight on with my housework so I could sit in the sunshine. Our daughter and great grand son came round at 10 and we went to the park we were there for the rest of the morning, when Parker had had enough we came back to mine so he could play in the garden and see great grandad. when they left I sat in the garden but it was really too hot, so I went indoors and watched the cycling with H. For dinner tonight we had salmon with jacket potatoes and broad beans. I lost a pound this week, it’s the one I put on last week. I weigh 125 lbs. 

Wednesday

 I had a lovely breakfast this morning! I had 2 rashes of bacon 2 fried eggs and half a pepper fried.  Then I put my shorts on and went into the garden. Every time the sun went in I gardened and when it came out again I sat down. I was out there till around two when I went to turbo. I did 18 .6 miles in the hour. For dinner we had spaghetti and meat balls in a tomato sauce. Yesterday I made a chicken curry I haven’t made one for ages. 

Monday

 I didn’t think I would get any sleep last night but I slept quite well. I had a horrible pain in my left ankle but I put a sock on and it stopped. I have been stiff today but luckily it was a sunny morning so we both sat in the garden. We had a chicken sandwich for lunch with a beer. I did a bit of gardening. For dinner tonight we had lamb chops with cauliflower, broccoli, carrots and potatoes. 

Sunday

 Today we decided to go out on our bikes. H got the bikes out as soon as we finished breakfast. We got ready and I hung the washing out before we went. We did 18 and a bit miles. I fell off twice , I fell off once last Monday so that’s my 3 times over with, I should be alright now. I don’t think I will get much sleep tonight because I am bruised from head to foot and I can only lay on my back, and even that hurts. H fell off as well . My first fall was into a bush that had been cut down I was trapped under my bike and the bush was full of brambles so I was stuck I called H and he stopped so suddenly he fell of but I didn’t know this because I couldn’t see him. He was alright and came and got me out of the brambles. The second time I fell off hurt a lot more because we were on tarmac. My back wheel skidded in some mud. I landed on my elbow and knee.

Saturday

 Wet again. I haven’t done much to write about over the last 2 days. Yesterday we went shopping in the morning and in the afternoon I did some clearing up in the garden. Today I did some gardening this morning and this afternoon I watched The Tour de France which was very good. Tomorrow I hope to go out on my bike, I hope it’s a bit warmer than it was this morning I was cold. For dinner last night we had paella 🥘 and tonight we had bacon 🥓 eggs 🥚 sausages ,tomatoes, and chips. 

Thursday

 I laid in bed till 7 o’clock when I got up and had my eggs 🥚 for breakfast. We were going out on our bikes today so I didn’t have a coffee but when we were about to get ready it began to rain. So we decided to turbo upstairs instead. H said he would go first so we had a coffee and he went up for his ride. We have had showers all day so we made the right decision. I went up next and rode for an hour. I did 17.3 miles. For lunch we had soup and for dinner we had salmon with jacket potatoes and peas. I gained a pound last week! 

Wednesday

 I had a better nights sleep last night. My itching has almost stopped. I had fried peppers and eggs for breakfast, then I got dressed and hung the washing out. Then I got on with my housework. I vacuumed all downstairs, then I did the dusting. I polished the dining table and did the ironing. I emptied the dishwasher and put everything away. We had a coffee and I sat down and read my magazine. This afternoon H began watching the Tour de France, so I went out to do some gardening, I was getting on well till it rained so I had to stop and get my washing in. We had beef and rice with black bean sauce for dinner, it was nice. For dessert we had a peach.

Tuesday

 I had a dreadful nights sleep, I think I had about 2 hours. Yesterday I fell off my bike and landed in a bed of nettles, they stung me through my tights and I had bare arms. I got stung on my left leg, my arm and my  bum. When I got into bed it felt as if I was on fire 🔥 and they aren’t much better today. We went to Lidl this morning in the rain as usual and after I had put everything away we had a coffee and a cake, then I walked down to the letter box to post a letter ( in the rain ). We had leftover cottage pie for dinner tonight.

Monday

 I haven’t been out on my bike for a week! But as it was a nice day son and I decided to go for a bike ride. H was going to spend the morning with his Spanish teacher. We did 19 miles on a really hilly route so I spent most of it out of breath. We went to Reepham bread sauce. We came home along the track till where we have to go across the field to get to the shooting school. H was home before us and had got the BBQ out ready for tonight. I had a bath and made a salad to go with our steaks and sausages, we also had squeaky cheese. Fresh fruit and cream for dessert. Yesterday son and I went to Heydon for a coffee and cake after which we went for a walk in the park. There were some black clouds about and we had walked about a mile and son said, looking at the sky I think we should turn back. It’s a good job we did because we got nearly back to the car when the skies opened and it poured.
