It started raining when I got up and it’s still raining. I went out to put the bins out and it was raining, blowing a gale and freezing cold. I was going for a walk but I decided to ride upstairs instead. Last year on this day I did a ride, so I decided to do the same ride today and see how much slower I am being a year older. Last year my average speed was 18 mph. Today it was 18.5 mph. I was really pleased with myself. We had a cup a soup for lunch followed by a fruit scone with butter and jam. This afternoon we watched a movie and for dinner we had a curry.
