Wednesday

 I was coughing for most of the night so I didn’t get much sleep. Today was my day for meeting my sister in law in the City for lunch. We lunched at Harriet’s again and decided to have the ‘ soup of the day ‘ I thought it might help my sore throat. After we had waited  for over half an hour my sister in law stopped a passing waitress and asked if there was any trouble with the soup, she said no it will be along in about 2 minutes. Five minutes later it arrived. Sister in law had a spoonful and said it was almost cold, so I had a spoonful of mine and it was HOT . I couldn’t even touch the outside of the soup bowl. Sa we called the waitress again and she said she would get another one. Another wait by which time mine was just the right temperature. We were half way through it when the waitress cane and said we did not have to pay for our soup. So we just paid for our drinks. I walked over 3 miles round the City . I have done a lot of talking today and now I cannot stop coughing.
