Today our daughter was going to take me to the coast ( my favourite place). So I got up and had my breakfast. I did a load of washing and watered the garden. The forecast was rain but I still watered because they keep saying it’s going to rain but we never get any.But today we had some. We left my house in the pouring rain and drove through floods, but when we got to the beach it had stopped. It was a “girls day out” my daughter, youngest granddaughter, my great grand daughter and me. We had chips and then went to the beach, we all had a paddle, the sea wasn’t as cold as it looked. After we had been there for a while it started to rain so we packed up and went to the amusements. When it stopped raining we went back to the beach. When it was time to go we had candy floss and a drink. So I had a lovely day. For dinner tonight we had Beef Bourguignon with roast potatoes and mushrooms.
