Friday

 Today I had toast for breakfast and then we went to Asda. When we got home I unpacked and put everything away and we had a coffee and a cake. I sat and read my magazine and when H went up to turbo I vacuumed all downstairs. When he finished is ride I got us cheese and biscuits with pickles for lunch. I didn’t do much else all day because I was having one of my bad days. I did my exercises with the weights but when I had my bath I couldn’t get out, this hasn’t happened for ages. I just didn’t have the strength to get myself up. So I had to turn over and get on my knees. For dinner tonight we had a burger 🍔 and hash browns. 

Thursday .

 I had  a decent nights sleep and when I got up I put on a load of washing. I hung yesterday’s out and had eggs for breakfast. I hung my washing out so I had 2 lines full. I went up and dressed and then I emptied the dishwasher and put everything away. The wind was blowing a gale so my washing was blowing a gale. At 10 o’clock it clouded over so I got yesterday’s line full in. Just in time before the first shower came. The second load didn’t get dry till 3 o’clock.H rode upstairs but I said I will do it tomorrow.  For lunch we had tomato soup. And this afternoon I did some weeding till the rain came again. I went in had a bath 🛀 and cooked dinner ( fish and chips). 

Wednesday

 I got 4 hours sleep last night. We were going out on our bikes today but it rained. So we both had a ride upstairs instead. H did 2 hours but I only did 1. I went out to pull a few more weeds out of the garden. But the rain started so I came in again. For lunch we had a salami sandwich and for dinner tonight we had scallops and cheese and bacon potato tartlets and peas. The scallops were delicious.

Tuesday

 Today I went for a hearing test. I had to take my hearing aids out first and they looked down my ears for wax, all clear. Then they put new end pieces and tubes on my hearing aids. I had to put them back in and then they hung an electric “ device round my neck and made sounds on a computer and I had to say when I could hear it. They did each ear separately and at the end showed me a graph of my hearing 3 years ago and today and how it had got worse over the 3 years. They said it looked like they would expect after 3 years. They then (with the computer and the thing hanging round my neck) turned my hearing aids up. They gave me 100 batteries which will last me a year and it didn’t cost me a thing. When I watch my tele 📺 in bed I had to have the volume set at 42 Tonight it’s on 17 that’s the difference it’s made. We had chicken soup for lunch and for dinner tonight we had a prawn stir fry.

Monday

 I got 4hours of sleep last night so I have felt a bit better today. I vacuumed the whole house. And then when the washing was done I hung it out. after that I went on the bike upstairs I rode for an hour and did 16.4 miles. I rested most of the afternoon and got dinner after I had got my washing in, all dry. Tomorrow I have got a hearing test.

Sunday

  I didn’t get any sleep last night because my back is so sore and it’s painful to yawn and rheas what I have been doing all day. I made a cake and it turned out well . If my back is better tomorrow H and I are going for a walk. For lunch we had cheese and biscuits with pickles. And for dinner tonight we had mince with potatoes carrots cauliflower and peas it was very tasty for pudding it was the leftover sherry trifle.

Saturday

 I went to bed at 11 o’clock last night,  I was asleep by half past and then I woke up at 2 o’clock with a terrible backache I was awake all the rest of the night. I have been in agony all day. It’s not my usual backache this is the other side. I haven’t done much today because I am in so much pain. I did make a sherry trifle for pudding tonight and we had a jacket potato with salmon and peas. 

Friday

 As soon as we had had our breakfast we went shopping. Went we got home I unpacked and put everything away we had a coffee and I went out to work in the garden. I went in at 12.30 to get lunch ,we had a sausage sandwich. I went back out to work in the garden again. I was working away and all of a sudden there was a clap of thunder and it poured with rain. By the time I had gathered up my tools and put them away I was soaked. I took my coat off and my shoes and the rain stopped, but I couldn’t be bothered to go out again. We had chicken curry for dinner it was very nice. I made a loaf of bread today and it came out well.

Thur

Today I went to the sea side with my daughter and my granddaughter, fossil hunting. We had a lovely day and quite successful. we were lucky with the weather too, it was sunny all day. I got home at3.15 . 

H ran me a bath,had made me a cup of tea and we drank our tea and got ready to our daughters for fish and chips and birthday cake. I feel really tired so I am now going to bed.

Wednesday

 Today I had to have a chest x Ray at Cromer Hospital. H drove us there and came in with me. It all went well and when it was done we drove into Cromer where we found a cafe and we had coffee and cake. We didn’t want fish and chips because we are having them tomorrow. ( when I say we didn’t want them I really mean H didn’t want them I could eat them 2 days in a row no trouble) . Next we went to have a look at the sea, and then we went for a walk along the main road looking in the shops. Then it was back to the car and home. We had a cup of tea and I cooked dinner we had a chicken pie and potatoes followed by the rest of the milk jelly. Tomorrow it’s our favourite daughters 56 birthday. 

Tuesday first day of Spring

 I had eggs and red pepper for breakfast. I did a load of washing and we got ready to go to the dump, all the old sofa is gone now. Next we went to Lidl I bought all the Easter 🐣 eggs I need. I think I even bought myself one. H said he didn’t want one but I got him 1 anyway. When we got home I unpacked and put everything away. We had spaghetti on toast for lunch and this afternoon I made a milk jelly. I sat and read my new magazine and for dinner tonight we had chicken enchiladas with hash browns and peas. Followed by milk jelly.

Monday

 we had a nice mother’s d weekend. I saw all my children. I went for a bike ride yesterday and a walk today. Our son went back today . I have got a busy week ahead . Saturday it rained all day here. But we were able to ride along the track yesterday. Today when we walked along it it was terrible, there were puddles right across it and it was terribly muddy. We won’t be able to bike along it for a few days even if we don’t get any more rain.

Friday

 We got up had our breakfast and went to Asda when we got home I unpacked and put everything away. Then we had a coffee and a do nut. I got the bins in after they had been emptied and then I was going to hang my washing out but it started to rain. It poured and kept it up till about 3 o’clock. I vacuumed downstairs and dusted it all. Then H carried the vacuum upstairs and I did that as well. We had cheese and biscuits for lunch again but today we had them with pickle Lilly. For dinner tonight we had pizza 🍕. My feet and ankles are terribly swollen up this evening so I am now going to bed so I can lay flat.

Thursday

 I got up at 5 to 7 after a brilliant nights sleep. I was going to have one egg for breakfast but as I put put it in the pan it broke so I had another one and that broke as well, so I had to give up . I emptied the dishwasher and put everything away and then I went outside to work in the garden. I came when it was lunch time. We had cheese and biscuits and a cup of hot chocolate. After that we went to the new rubbish tip at the Airport. When we got home again we had a cup of tea.  For dinner tonight we had breaded haddock with potato wedges and peas.

Wednesday

 when I got up it was -1 and clear. Then the fog came down and the temperature stopped going up, so we decided to turbo. I went first and did an hour, then H went on and did an hour. While he was on I gardened. We had soup for lunch. I went back and done a bit more in the garden and when I went back indoors we had a cup of tea. We had our baths and then dinner, stir fry with prawns 🍤. I had a message from my old boss today asking me if I would go to a “ get together meal “ in May we will all meet for a meal somewhere. I said yes.

Tuesday

 I got this morning to more rain it didn’t last long but we must have had a lot in the night because a bucket I emptied yesterday had an inch of water in it. Then the sun came out and the roads soon dried we went to Lidl in our car, the sun was hot coming through the window. When we got out the wind was blowing a gale and it was freezing. When we got home we had our lunch a slice of buttered sourdough bread and a packet of crisps.  I was supposed to go for a walk but it was too cold so I gardened instead. It was lovely in our gardening the sun and sheltered from the wind. I was out there from 12.45 till 3.30 the time passes so quickly when I am doing what I love. For dinner tonight we had enchiladas with roast tomato’s cauliflower and mushrooms.

Monday

 We were going out on our bikes today but the wind was so strong we didn’t go. H went up and turboed  and I went out and finished my path. I hung my washing out and got it all dry,  it’s the first time I’ve got it dry outside for ages. We had a hot cross bun for lunch with a cup of Bovril. I have got a bad back it been bad for a week now. It keeps me awake at night too. For dinner tonight we had a pasta bake it was nice. We  also had a kit kat

Sunday. A

 I had a better nights sleep last night. I didn’t get dressed till after breakfast because I was going to have a ride on the bike upstairs. So I changed into my cycle gear and biked for an hour. I did 17.4 miles. When I had finished H had a ride. While he was riding I emptied the dishwasher and put everything away and tidied the kitchen. I got a text from our youngest granddaughter saying if we were going to be at home this afternoon she would come to see us. We were going to be home at her and her boyfriend came round. While she was here she filed my nails for me. When they left I had a bath then cooked dinner. We had a quiche with potato wedges, peas and red pepper

Saturday

 I had my breakfast after which I got straight on with my housework. I worked really hard dusted the skirting boards and everything. H turboed but I didn’t have time so I will have to do it tomorrow if its not good enough to go out. We had a cheese sandwich for lunch and for dinner we had pizza with salad. Our house looks lovely I an really pleased with it. 

Friday

 I got up at 5.45 and H was already up. We had our breakfast and then went to Asda to do our shopping. When we got home I unpacked and put everything away. I forgot to get any Easter eggs. When I had finished putting it all away we got stuck in to a big job that we had to do. It took us an hour and a half which we were pleased with.we thought it was going to take much longer. We had beans on toast for lunch. I spent a lot of time arching the snow flakes fall. I love to watch them it is so pretty. We watched tipping point and then had our baths. For dinner tonight we had chilli followed by tiramisu.

Thursday

 At 9 o’clock this morning we went out to try to find a chemist that had my prescribed antibiotics ( my chemist didn’t have them and gave me the prescription and said I would have to find a chemist who did) . The first chemist we went to was closed for alterations but on the door they said where the dearest one was so we went there and they had them. We came back home and had a coffee.  I then dusted and did the ironing. This brought it up to lunchtime and we had spaghetti on toast. Then we had our bath 🛀 because we were going to Hs sister’s for tea his brother and his wife were there as well . They live in Cyprus but were here on a flying visit. Anyway we had a nice evening.

Wednesday

 I got up at 6.15 and H was up and had made the tea. He poured us both a cup and when I had drunk mine I fried my egg. I had a doctors appointment at 10.45 so I got on with my housework straight away instead of reading a chapter of my book. I emptied the dishwasher and put everything away, tidied the kitchen and vacuumed all downstairs. I put the rubbish out and got the ice out of the bird bath and refilled it. Then I got ready to go to the docs. I got on well my blood results were good and my heart is fine. My blood pressure is spot on. The doctor looked at my throat and gave me some antibiotics which should clear my sore throat and cough up. He also said the reason for the pins and needles in my hands is probably due to carpel tunnel. Which put my mind at ease because I thought it was due to my stroke. When I got back home we had some lunch and then we went to see our daughter and son-in-law.we haven’t seen them for so long because she has been ill and we didn’t want to catch it. We had enchiladas for dinner with potatoes wedges and roast peppers.

Tuesday

 yesterday I forgot to write my blog. And today I haven’t done anything to blog about. We went to Lidl this morning. I spent the most I have spent in there so far. We had a chicken,bacon and leek pie for dinner tonight with cabbage potatoes and gravy. I washed my hair when I had my bath. I am trying to grow my fringe out but it’s really hard ,when I go to Asda on Friday I am going to buy an Alice band to keep it out of my eyes. Tomorrow I have got an appointment to see the doctor.

Monday. Wet wet wet

 It Wes -1 on my watch when I got up so I knew we wouldn’t be going out on our bikes. So I only had one egg 🥚 for breakfast. I dressed and put the rubbish out. H decided that he would turbo but I didn’t want too so I decided I would go for a walk with my poles. I got ready and went. It rained all the while I was out. On the way back I walked along Marriotts Way and it was really muddy with large puddles. I walked 2.26 miles. My walk warmed me up nicely . We each had a small tin of pilchards for lunch and a G& T. For dinner tonight we are going to have a prawn 🍤 stir fry. H says when the weather warms up he will take me out in the car so I can walk somewhere different.

Saturday

 I got up at 6.30 and had eggs for breakfast. We have had rain on and off all day so we are glad we decided not not to go out on our bikes. I went upstairs to turbo and told H I wasn’t going to go fast but I would do more than my usual hour. So I did 2 hours and my average was still 17 mph. When I finished H made us a coffee and we had a roll for lunch with liver pate. We watched a film this afternoon and for dinner we had burgers.

Friday

 Today I had an appointment to have my eyes tested , I should have had them done in October but H had to cancel my appointment because I was in hospital. I had another appointment last month but they cancelled that one because they were short staffed. Anyway they said everything looked fine and had healed up well after my cataract surgery. And there was no sign of scaring. They said I had to have glasses 👓 for reading and gave me a prescription so I can get them any time. On the way home we went to Tesco’s and did our weekend shopping. I got a pizza for our dinner tonight and we had it with a salad.

Thursday

 As soon as I got up I put on a load of washing. I should have weighed myself but I forgot. I hung my washing out and tidied the kitchen. I did my exercises and went out to do a bit of gardening, I have now got only 6 slabs left to clear. After I have finished the path I will do the patio. We were going out on our bikes today but it was too cold. Tomorrow I am having an eye test I am not looking to it. I would rather be working in the garden. Tonight we had a pasta bake for dinner ,it was really nice. It was a jar from Lidl tomato and bacon flavour. H made it all I did was weigh out the pasta. As my eye test in the morning we are doing we are going to do our weekly shop on the was home from the City.

Wednesday 1 st of March

 I got up at 6.10 and put on a load of washing. I had an egg for breakfast. And then I did my exercises. I have some new ones where I lay on the floor and move my arms as if I am swimming.when H went up to turbo I went out to garden. I stayed out there until it rained and then I went in. H had finish his ride so he made us a coffee. I forgot to say I had an appointment today at the doctors but as I was getting dressed the phone 📞 rang and it was the surgery to say my appointment was cancelled. They gave me another one for next Wednesday I could had one for this Friday but I am having my  eyes done that day. His afternoon we watched a film. Dinner was a prawn stir fry with a choc ice for pudding.
