Friday

 we have had a good day. I was up at 4.30 because my back was so painful I couldn’t sleep. So I washed and dressed and emptied the dishwasher and put it all away. Then I got breakfast ready H came downstairs, he hadn’t slept well either because it’s too hot. We had our breakfast and then I got on with some housework before it got any hotter. At 10.30 our daughter arrived to ride on the turbo trainer. H put her on a hard course where she had to ride up a volcano. She did really well. Before she left we sat in the garden and had a cup of tea. When she left we got ready to go out on our bikes. It was H’s first ride outside since he had his accident. We did 18.2 miles. It was terribly hot but it was a nice ride and he did well. When we got home we had our cheese roll for lunch and a pear 🍐 for dessert. We hadn’t been home long and our no 1 son rung us from his work. He began to talk about his motor bike! I didn’t know what he was talking about . He said he had broken down, I asked why he was telling me that when he was atwork, and he said because I might wonder why his motor bike was outside our house without him. We hadn’t seen it and didn’t know it was there. For dinner tonight we curry 🍛.
