Tuesday

 I got up at 7 o’clock after a better nights sleep, but still not good enough. We went to Lidl and when we got home I unpacked and put everything away ,we then had a coffee and an apple turnover and I went up to turbo. I did a flat course because I have got a sore knee. I did 17.6 miles in an hour, I was pleased with this because I started slowly because of my knee. We had a lovely day on Sunday it was our youngest granddaughters  twenty first birthday and we went to her party. We had a lovely time. Yesterday we went to the City, it was pouring with rain but by the time we came out of bank it had stopped so we walked up to John Lewis and had a look round, then we went to a cafe for a coffee. Tonight for dinner we had beef and rice with a black bean sauce.

Wednesday

 Today is was meeting my sister in law in the City, I was going on the bus. I got on a bus at 20 to 10 to meet her at 10.30. The last time I bussed to the City it took 30 minutes. Today it took 55 minutes. I had to send her a message to say I would be late. There were roadworks on the Fakenham road. Anyway I had a nice day , when we met we went straight for a coffee and then went round the City window shopping. We would have bought something if we saw something we liked, but nothing took our fancy. We had a panini for lunch with a salad and crisps. We had it in Swan Lane but I can’t remember the name of the place. It begins with an L . Anyway it was very nice. My bus home took exactly 30 minutes. For dinner tonight we had a chicken pie chips and peas. When I cooked the peas the microwave blew up. 

Monday

When I got up I thought the bathroom light was on and went in to turn it off,but it was the sun shining through the window.  It’s so long since we have had the sun shining early enough to come through that window. It stayed out all day. I did a load of washing as soon as I got up and when it was done I hung it out. After breakfast I went outside and did some more of the garden path. We had toast for lunch and this afternoon we went for a walk. For dinner tonight we had pork chops with potatoes carrots and cauliflower.

Sunday

 I got up at 6.30 and had my breakfast. I feel better today, yesterday I was so dizzy 🥴 I could hardly stand up. I did manage to do a bit of my path weeding, I thought getting out in fresh air might help. Today after breakfast I got ready to ride on the static bike. I did 17.9 miles in my hour. When I finished I dressed and went out to weed some more path but I only did one slab because it was so cold out there. For lunch I had a bowl of cornflakes,and dinner tonight was haddock mornay, cauliflower sprouts and potatoes. I made some cheese  sauce to pour over the veggies. It was all very nice. We had an apple 🍎 for pudding. If I am not dizzy tomorrow we are going for a walk.

Thursday

 It has rained all day. Our daughter came round this morning with our great grand son. He is such a lovely little boy.  It’s a pity that it was raining because we were going to the swings. We had bacon rolls for lunch and for dinner tonight we had chicken stir fry. I hope it’s dry tomorrow so we can go for a walk.

Wednesday

 I got up at 7 o’clock after a good nights sleep. I had eggs after I had put the washing machine on and the tumble dryer. H came down at 8 o’clock. H said he was going to turbo so I decided to do some gardening. I decided to start on the path, it’s that time of year again. I did 10 slabs which took me to the first step. For lunch we had a cup of bovril and cheese and biscuits we also had a packet of crisps. For dinner tonight we had beef and rice with black bean sauce. 

Monday

 We have had a busy couple of days, biking and walking. On Saturday we biked to Reepham where we went to bread source for a coffee and a cake. Sunday son and I went for a walk and today we cycled to Reepham again. The wind was terrible on both our bike rides. It has done a lot of damage.. There are loads of trees down along Marriotts Way, But all the ones that fell on the track have been cleared but in the woods either side are full of fallen trees. Our granddaughter came round to see us this evening. She is looking  very well. For dinner tonight we had salmon with jacket potatoes, broccoli and carrots. Yesterday we had a roast. It was leg of lamb  with mashed swede,roast potatoes and sweet potato,sprouts carrots, broccoli and gravy.

Thursday

 I got up at 7.30, looked out of my bedroom window and noticed that our car had gone. H had taken it to the garage for its M O T. He was back and watching tv. I was supposed to go with him. I had my breakfast eggs 🥚 and after I was dressed I did some housework. At 11 o’clock H said he was going up to turbo so I went out and worked in the garden. It was lovely 😊 the sun was shining and it was quite warm. I was out there for  2 hours, when I came in we had lunch, soup. I didn’t go out again, H went for the car which passed without having anything done. For dinner tonight we had chicken goujons chips and peas.
