I had another good nights sleep, i think it must be due to the fact that it’s much cooler at night. We decided that as it was dry we would go out on our bikes. We got ready and left at just before 10 o’clock. I did a load of washing and hung it out before we left. We went down the track to Whitwell station where we sat on the station platform and ate an ice cream before coming back. It’s just over 15 miles and enough to keep our legs from seizing up. We had bacon sandwiches when we got home and for dinner tonight we had gammon steaks with potatoes, carrots and beans. Melon for dessert.
