Saturday

 I didn’t write a blog yesterday because I didn’t do anything except shop in the morning and go out in the afternoon for fish and chips for tea. My back is still bad but not as bad as it was. We went out our bikes today to pick some Myra bellas ( wild plums ) we did 10 miles. On the way we saw 2 cyclists coming towards us. When we got level with them they stopped to chat it was our daughter and son in law. They had just about finished their ride. For dinner tonight we had paella, and dessert was tiramisu. 

Thursday

 I didn’t have a very good sleep because every time I moved my back woke me up. As soon as we finished breakfast H got the bikes out. We didn’t go out till about 10.30 , we went looking for black berries. We found some but they were small and didn’t taste very nice so we decided not to bother. We carried on and did our ride. On the way home their was a house with apples 🍏 in a box that says please help yourself. So tomorrow we will have stewed Apple and custard for dessert. Our ride was lovely and I enjoyed it. We did 19 and a bit miles. For dinner tonight we had sausages and mash with peas and gravy.

Wednesday

 Yesterday H trimmed our hedge, he made a good job of it considering he didn’t use a ladder. I didn’t want him up a ladder because he often goes dizzy and that would not be good with a hedge cutter on a ladder. I cleared up the bits  as he cut them off. Then at dinner time I got a bad back. I don’t know how I did it. We were going out on our bikes today but  I am in too much pain. Riding my bike usually helps but as I can hardly stand up I wouldn’t be able to get on. We will try Tomorrow instead, we are going to look for blackberries. 

Thursday

 I got up at 6.10 pulled up my blind and it was raining and blowing a gale. I was very disappointed because I was supposed to be going to Yarmouth for the day with my daughter and son in law and the great grand children. Well after breakfast the rain stopped and it brightened up. We went and as we got out of the car on the car park, the sun came out. We had a lovely day taking the children on the snails and other rides. Donkey rides on the beach and paddling in the sea. The wind was too strong to sit on the beach it was blowing the sand along the shore and it was quite painful. We had sausage and chips for lunch on the market. A good time was had by all. When I got home I cooked dinner which was pasta and meat balls followed by fresh fruit. I walked over 3 miles.

Wednesday

 I had a brilliant nights sleep. I had my usual breakfast 🍳 and did a load of washing when it was done I hung it out. I filled the bird bath and watered the pots. Next I went upstairs for a turbo but I onlydid it for half an hour because my right knee was sore. We went out in car to post a birthday card . For dinner tonight we had a pork chop, potatoes carrots and green beans.

Sunday (evening)

 I worked in the garden after I had hung my washing out and cleaned the kitchen. I have finished cutting round the lawn and started the rockery now. H turboed again. For dinner tonight we had pork steaks with potatoes, peas, spinach, runner beans and samphire. Fresh fruit for pudding.

Sunday

 I was going to write this last night but my battery was flat. We went for a longer ride yesterday, when I picked the route H said he would go on a road bike to make it easier for him, I rode my M T B. We did just over 30 miles. When we got home I got lunch, cheese and salad rolls. We have only got 2of my rolls left now and we will have them today. I hope to do some more gardening today but I didn’t have a very good nights sleep so I don’t feel like doing anything at the moment. H is on the turbo again so I must get on and do something. First I will dress and then hang the washing out.

Wednesday

 I got up at 6 because I was too hot. I made a pot of tea and had my breakfast, eggs and courgette. We  were going out on our bikes today so H got the bikes out. I put on a load of washing but it was so dull I didn’t hang it out. I emptied the dishwasher and put everything away and read a chapter of my book. I went up and dressed in my cycle gear and when we were ready we went out. We did 15.3 miles. When we got home I made us both an instant coffee and when I had finished mine I went into the garden and done some of the cutting round the edge of the lawn. I did it till it was too hot. For dinner tonight we had a salmon and prawn Wellington, potatoes and runner beans. It was very nice.

Sunday

 I got up at 10 past 6 and had my breakfast. I did a load of washing and when it was done I hung it out. H got the bikes out so I went upstairs to put my cycle gear on. We only did a short ride because our eldest son was coming round. We did 15 miles and when we got home I sent son a message to let him know. I then went into the garden to work . I had only just started when son arrived so I went in again. It was lovely to see him. He brought me 3 courgettes, 2 lettuces and a huge bag of runner beans. All grown bu his wife.

Tuesday

 On Saturday we went to a BBQ round our daughter’s and son in law’s. We had such a nice time. Our granddaughters were there to with their other halves and the great grand children, who kept us all entertained. The food was great 👍 and we throughly enjoyed it. We were supposed to be going out on our bikes on Sunday but it was a hot night and I didn’t have much sleep so I was tired 💤 out so we didn’t go. We went yesterday instead. We all enjoyed our ride, Ringland, Ling, Whitwell ,and Reepham. I thought I would get a good nights sleep after that ride but I was too hot again. 

Friday

 Yesterday I had a wonderful day, my daughter took me to Cromer for the day, we had a lovely day with the great grand children. They love the beach and the sea. We had chips for lunch and candy floss for dessert, so naughty. I wanted to write about it last night but I fell asleep, it must have been the sea air. For dinner last night we had jacket potatoes, beans, pork chops and garlic bread. 

Today was really hot, I walked to the hairdressers and booked to have a trim and when I got home I did some housework. I got all my washing dry again. H went out this afternoon to see his Spanish teacher. When he got home I made us a cup of tea and then we had dinner, spaghetti carbonara. Ice cream for dessert.
