Today we went for a bike ride we did just over 16 miles off road, there were several trees down but it must have been a few days ago because they had been cut up and pushed to the side of the track. We enjoyed the ride but the wind was strong. Yesterday I took the net off my strawberries 🍓 and wed the bed. It took me all afternoon. For dinner tonight we had a steak and kidney pie with marrow, carrots, peas and potatoes.
On Friday we had a lovely day, our daughter and son in law took us to Sutton Hoo they picked us up at 10.30 in the morning and when we got there we met our youngest granddaughter and her boyfriend, and our grandson and his fiancée. We went to the cafe first for a coffee and cake. Then we had a walk round the house while we were waiting for our guided walk.. round the site of the graves. The weather was kind to us and it was very interesting. Then we went back to our daughters house for fish and chips for dinner. After dinner we played a game. We were taken home again and it was 8.30 so we were out all day. It was most enjoyable
