It has been another nice day, it was very cloudy when we got up but warm . We decided to go out on our bikes so while I was making a pot of tea H got the bikes out. We had our breakfast and got washed and dressed and we rode 18 miles. The sun came out when we were half way round so we sat on the station platform at Whitwell and H bought us both a magnum ice cream. It was a nice ride.
Yesterday was my middle brothers diamond wedding anniversary and we went out for afternoon tea at The Norfolk Mead hotel. It’s a very nice place. We had a very pleasant afternoon.
