Monday

 Today has been a nightmare day , we were going out on our bikes, H got the bikes out and I put my circle gear on. H then said he didn’t want to go on the road because it was too windy. It was blowing a gale, we didn’t want to go along the track because we had a huge thunderstorm yesterday after it had been raining all day. So we decided to turbo in stead . So while H was setting it up for me, I changed into  my shorts and got all ready , but H couldn’t load it up because we had no internet. So I changed yet again and gardened. I wed the strawberries and did some more of the patio. We have got the internet back now.  I got a phone call today from spec savers reminding me I have got an appointment tomorrow, I am glad they rang because I had completely forgotten. Yesterday for dinner we had a roast chicken so today we had chicken with a jacket potato tomatoes and beetroot. 

Friday

 I got up at 6.30 and H was already up. We both had eggs for breakfast with e cup of tea. I put on a load of washing then went up and dressed. I hung the washing out when it was done and then H drove me to Tesco’s to do my shopping. He didn’t come in with me so shopping was really quick. After I had put everything away we got ready to go out on our bikes. It was quite cool when we started but after a while the sun ☀️ came out and then it was ok. We did 15 . 88 miles. This afternoon I started cleaning the patio. I have done half of it . It’s a pity it’s going to rain tomorrow I would have finished it. For dinner tonight we had pizza and salad. Mellon for dessert

Thursday

 Yesterday I went on the turbo, I found it hard and was disappointed with my speed. Well today H decided to have a ride on it and went to change my weight to his only to find it was already on his weight. He had forgotten to put my weight in for my ride, which meant I rode round carrying 30 lbs to much round with me. No wonder I could only ride 15 miles in the hour! I have told him that I will do it again next week and see how fast I can go.

Today I went to the City I made an appointment to get my eyes tested and bought myself a top from White Stuff and a crab for my lunch. For dinner tonight I made some turkey meatballs and we had them with spaghetti which I cooked with a tin of chopped tomatoes and some herbs,it was delicious.

Monday

 Today H was mowing the front lawn and a white van pulled up and asked us if we wanted our brickweve cleaned . They did a small section to show what it would look like. And we had it done. Next door came out and saw it and had theirs done too. That was a real bonus because theirs was a mess. It has saved me a job. I spent all day in the garden pulling up forget me nots. They have filled my garden rubbish bin. For dinner tonight we had liver and onions, with potatoes, carrots, green beans and gravy. It was nice.

Sunday

 I got up at 7 o’clock after a brilliant nights sleep and had eggs for breakfast. I put on a load of washing and when it was done I hung it out. We went for a bike ride next, it was a lovely day with wall to wall sunshine. We did a short ride which was a recovery ride for H who did a ride yesterday. We did 15 and a bit miles. When we got home the sun was still shining so we had our lunch in the garden , after we had changed into our shorts. Our Bluetits have flown the nest. They were gone when we got up this morning. For dinner tonight we had sausages, burgers, jacket potatoes, corn 🌽 on the cob and eggs.

Friday

 It was really foggy when I got up this morning, but it cleared quickly. We went to Asda and did our shopping and when we got home we put everything away and had a coffee. Next I went upstairs and put my cycle gear on and went out on my bike. I did 15.88 miles average speed 10.3 M. P H . When I got home we had lunch and I changed again and put my shorts on to sit in the garden in the sun. But the sun went in so we sat indoors and watched the bike race in Italy,  For dinner we had quiche, chips and peas. 

Saturday

 Today son and I went for a bike ride. We had a lovely ride to Reepham. We saw a kite, several buzzards and loads of butterflies. It was really hot and we went to bread sauce and sat outside in the sun with our coffee and my cake. We came home on the track, but we went there mostly on the road. We went along a new foot path we have never been on before, we met someone we haven’t seen for years ,so we had a chat 

When we got home H had finished his ride on the turbo. I sat in the garden for an hour. Then I got dinner, tonight we had chicken with potatoes, broccoli, carrots and asparagus. For dessert we had black berries, blueberries, ice cream and cream. I am stuffed.
