Tuesday!

I got up at 6.20, made a pot of tea and had 2 eggs for breakfast. It was supposed to rain all night and still be wet this morning but we hadnt had a drop and it looked like a nice day so H said we could go out on our bikes. I got our bikes out of the garage and H said we could go after he had rung the doctor. Well it took ages on the phone and when he finally got through they said there wasnt a doctor available to see him or give him a prescription and sugested he went to the walk in centre. So I had to put the bikes away again and we went to the City. When we got there he was in a queue of 23 other people and of course I wasnt allowed in with him so I walked to our optitons and made an appointment for us both to have an eye test. (it poured with rain and I got soaked through to thr skin) I went into the mall to shelter and sat on a bench and H rang to say he was out so we met back at the car and on the way home went to the chemist for his medication. He was so happy that they had given him some, hopefully it will work as fast as last time. When we got home we had a coffee and soup for lunch. This afternoon was my checkup at the dentist so today has been quite busy. spaghetti bolognase for dinner and a mug of tea. H had a glass of wine but I resisted.O One thing I wanted to say is how dissapointed I was in the great City of Norwich! I walked through the Royal Archade, along the Walk and all through the shopping and saw no bunting or any signs of celebrating the jubilee. Very sad.
