May Day

I got up at 5.50 and put on a load of washing. H came down and got his bike out of the garage ready for his ride. We had our breakfast and a coffee and H got ready to meet our son in law to go for a ride. When he left I hung out the washing and emptied the dishwasher. I washed and dressed, took out the rubbish and scrubbed out the bird bath and refilled it. I cleaned the kitchen and vacumed upstairs. I still had an hour before I had to leave home so I sat and read my book. I got ready, packed a bottle of water and some wellie boots and drove to our granddaughters. I hadnt been there long when our daughter arrived with our other granddaughter. we all piled into daughters car and she drove us to West Runton where we were going fossel hunting on the beach. We wandered to the first rock pool and I found a belemite straight away. I only found 2 more but the other 3 all found a handfull each! We werent lucky enough any other fossels but we all enjoyed it and will go again. We couldnt believe how warm it was on the beach and there wasnt a breath of wind, it was lovely, so relaxing. I left home at 10.30 and arrived back home at 10 past 3.H was home, he had enjoyed his ride. I poured us a glass of his birthday sangria and added strawberries it was very nice. We had our baths and I made s pot of tea and cooked dinner, pork with the usual veg. We had rhubarb and cream for pudding. H said he wasnt very hungry and had a headache so he has gone to bed and I can watch tv downstairs. He hopes to go for a ride tomorrow with me so I hope hes feeling better.
