Sunday

 We haven’t done much today,I put on a load of washing when I got up and hung it out as soon as it was done. I wash up my soup maker and out it away. We had a cup of coffee and I filled the bird bath. We had crumpets for lunch and i got the washing in, it was dry enough to go in the airing cupboard. After that I went for a short walk, just to get some air and blow the cobwebs away. When I got home I made a pot of tea. At 5 o’clock I had a bath and then cooked dinner. We had toad in the hole with cabbage, carrots, mashed potato and gravy. 

Tuesday

 I have had a brilliant weekend! On Friday I flew to Copenhagen with my daughter and her husband and her 2 daughters, the  2 grandchildren and their dad a the youngest daughter’s boyfriend. We went for my grandson’s wedding to his Danish girlfriend. The wedding was fabulous taking place in a small church that was built in the 12 hundreds. After the ceremony it was champagne on the lawn in front of the church and then a private bus ride through the countryside to where the reception was being held. More champagne on the lawns in front of the hall before going in for the speeches and meal. The bride and groom certainly looked different to brides and grooms in this Country. It was all fabulous with the meal lasting over 3 hours. The favours were water pistols ( a bit different from English sugar  almonds. ) They also served  as the table plan because everyone’s name was written on their water pistol.everyone ended up wet. It was great fun and everyone joined in. 

On Sunday we went to the zoo, it’s a fabulous zoo with all the big animals, polar bears elephants rhinos, camels, lions. The list goes on. The animals were all very active the giant panda sat eating his bamboo and the polar bears went for a swim ect. Yesterday we walked to a cemetery to see Hans Cristian Anderson’s grave.
