Monday

 Today we decided to go out on our bikes so we had our breakfast and H got the bikes out and oiled the chains. We set off and went along the track which was quite dry much to my surprise because Saturday it rained all day. We had only gone about two miles when we came to a tree that had fallen right across the track, we managed to get our bikes under it and ourselves. We went a bit further and then there were two more trees across the track, the first one was much lower so H lifted and bikes over the top and we had to crawl under, the next one was better. We then carried on to Whitwell. On the way back we left the track before we came to the trees and got back on after we had passed them. We did nearly 16 miles but crawling under the trees I must have turned my phone off.  For dinner tonight we had ribs with cabbage,carrots and potatoes.
