Thursday

We got up at 6.30 and had our breakfast. I had eggs because I thought we were going out on our bikes, H had toast as usual. After breakfast we had a coffee abd I got a message from our daughter asking if we were going to be at home today. Its her day for child minding our great granddaughter so we guessed she was thinking of bringing her round so we decided not to bike because we would rather see them, we can cycle tomorrow. Our daughter, youngest granddaughter and great granddaughter all arrived around 10 am. Our granddaughter had disslocated her knee and wasnt able to walk far so daughter and I walked to the playground with Nova in the pushchair till we got to the playing field when she walked the rest of the way, stopping often to pick and blow dandylion clocks. Grandad brought the invilid down to the playground in the car and also took her back. After the swings and slides we walked back home. When we got back it was time for them to leave and go back for their lunch. It was lovely she is such a dear little girl. She is not yet 2 but she sang old mac donald on the way home, with a quack quack here and a quack quack there etc. She knows all her colours ( so is not colour blind like her mother ). She can count our stairs as she went up etc. We had lunch, I had a salad and H had cheese and biscuits and then a tin of rice pudding. This afternoon I did some weeding and sat in the sun for the short time it was out. We saw a bit of tipping point after the tour of Itsly was over. We had our baths and then dinner.We had liver and onions with potatoes and peas, it was yummy. I had a banana and 2 melting moments for my dessert.
